Burn Survivor Network is being built to make it easier for burn survivors and their families to find the help they need — from acute burn care to housing, recovery services, peer support, financial assistance and long-term community resources.

Burn recovery can extend far beyond the hospital. Survivors and families may need medical care, rehabilitation, housing, mental health support, financial help, transportation, peer connection and other services — often across many different organizations and systems.
Burn Survivor Network is designed to become a nationwide, easy-to-use directory and connection point for burn survivors, caregivers, families, hospitals, nonprofit organizations and community partners.
Instead of searching across dozens of websites or trying to figure out who to call, survivors will be able to start with one network built around the realities of burn recovery.
Our goal is to connect people not only with burn centers, but also with the organizations and programs that can help after discharge and throughout long-term recovery.
BSN will continue growing as burn centers, survivor organizations, housing programs and community partners across the country join the network.
Verified burn units, specialty clinics, reconstructive care, rehabilitation and related medical resources.
Local, regional and national organizations serving burn survivors, families and caregivers.
Transitional housing, long-term housing opportunities, lodging resources and potential voucher programs.
Support groups, survivor networks, mentoring opportunities, camps, community events and connection programs.
Trauma-informed mental health resources, counseling options and emotional recovery support.
Financial assistance, transportation, employment support, adaptive resources, prosthetics and other practical needs.
